T-Mobile Offering G2 for Free through June 2nd
In case you missed out on T-Mobile’s offer last week, the Magenta carrier has you covered as it is currently offering up the HTC-made G2 smartphone for the low price of free to new customers signing a new contract.
There are a few caveats, other than the contract, that you should know about as well. First, the offer isn’t going to last forever. It will last through June 2nd and then the G2 will likely jump back up to its usual asking price of $150.
Two, the deal is only available to new and add-a-line customers which means that those of you looking to upgrade will have to look elsewhere for a device.
T-Mobile’s price drop of the G2 comes shortly after the carrier increased the price of its popular LG-made G2x whose price now sits at a lofty $250 through T-Mobile’s website.
