T-Mobile Offers New Data Plans if You Bring Your Own Phone

t-mobile logoT-Mobile wants to make it easier and cheaper for users to come join the T-Mobile network. To make this a reality, T-Mobile is adding Value Plans, which combing a collection of talk, text and data deals to help you find a plan that fits your needs. The big news is the new data plans, which come in three sizes and without overage charges.

The Value Plans are available to users who purchase a device at full price or bring their own device, rather than relying on T-Mobile to sell them a discounted device. These plans offer discounts on service because T-Mobile doesn’t need to make the discount money back from Value Plan customers. This is similar to the reason I decided not to sign any more cell phone contracts.

If you want to get on these plans without paying full price you can put down a specific amount and then pay $15 a month for the phone. For example, the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide is available with a down payment of $249 and 20 monthly payments of $15 at 0% interest.

The new data plans will start at $19.99 for 2GB and can be added to any smartphone, tablet, USB stick or 4G MiFi hotspot. The plans will also be available in 5GB or 10GB amounts. There are no overage charges, but once you hit your limit you will be throttled to a lower speed. Other carriers perform similar throttling, but aren’t as up front about it.

Plans with voice will be available on July 24th with a variety of plan prices depending on how much data, voice and text you need. One example of a new Value Plan would be unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited data with 2 GB of high-speed data is just $49.99 per line for two lines, which is pretty tempting.

We’ll have to see if shoppers are interested in lower monthly payments without huge up front phone discounts. If you want to switch to a T-Mobile Value Plan you should stop in or call T-Mobile on July 24th.

“If you want to switch to a T-Mobile Value Plan you should stop in or call T-Mobile on July 24th.” A subtle punt on the back of switching to T-Mobile. One of the main reasons people put of switching networks is the fear of losing all their saved contacts, pictures and video`s. How many old phones do you have sat in a draw at home with the honest intention of trying to download those pics and video onto your pc but just never get round to doing it. Well at last there is a global cross network back up solution available. Just visit http://www.mymobilebackup.co.uk and read all about it, This back up system is permanent no matter how many times you change phones or networks your individual date stamped back ups will never be deleted.
