The MID / Netbook vs Laptop – Mobile Minimalism

I picked up this great video from Twitter this morning on the Mini Cooper and its flexible / minimalistic approach compared to the big, powerful gas guzzlers out there. When I saw it, I immediately thought of how it applied to what we often write about on GBM and our approach to mobile computing, as […]

Laptop Mag Reviews the Samsung N310 Netbook

Joanna Stern’s review of the Samsung N310 Netbook confirms some of my thinking about Samsung’s designs for the Netbook class. Typing Test Between a Netbook and an iPhone in a Race Car

I’m not sure if this unscientific test proves anything or not, but it sure is fun. For what it is worth the results are surprising. Crave UK’s Rory Reid rides shotgun in a Citroen C4  with a European Rally Car winner to test out which device is easier to type on a high speed race […]

Netbook Predictions All Over The Map

Netbooks came upon us almost out of the blue and without warning. They proved to be a major disrupter that left everyone scrambling for a piece of the action.
