No real suprises here, but the good news is that most of the usual suspects in the Tablet PC scene are listed on the slide.</p>
<p>In another note, Sinofsky was apparently asked about the recent brouhaha over Ray Ozzie&#8217;s Tablet PC past tense niche comment (<a href="http://www.gottabemobile.com/2008/11/05/sinofsky-we-heart-tablet/">Rob posted about this yesterday</a>.) Read his comments carefully. Notice that in his talking about how much Microsoft is loving Tablet PCs and working on them, there is no mention of Inking and/or pen input beyond adding different recognizers for different languages. I may be overly cynical here in my reading of that, but I&#8217;m thinking that has more to do with touch input in Asian countries than I do pen and ink.</p>
