There are just three full weeks left in 2014 and they are some of the most important ever. It’s these three weeks that’ll define the winners and losers going into big industry events next year. How well the iPhone and devices running Google’s Android operating system perform will determine what features get marketing priority in future smartphones and where wireless carriers place their marketing dollars. In short, it’s absolutely crucial that people buy a Windows Phone in 2014 if Microsoft hopes to keep it viable.
But should users pick one up? After announcing and releasing the Windows Phone 8.1 update, after convincing more companies to make Windows Phones and giving [...]
Sprint, America’s third-largest wireless carrier, doesn’t have a lot to show for its supposed dedication to Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system today. That being said, its subscribers will see at least one Sprint Windows Phone arrive in the near future.
In a statement sent to WPCentral, Sprint representatives don’t just hint at future support Sprint Windows Phones, they outright declare that there’s at least one in the works.
“We do expect to bring new Windows Phone devices to our customers in the near future, and Sprint is committed to offering a variety of operating systems to our customers,” the statement reads.

Apple’s ever-popular iPhone smartphones aren’t in danger of being overran by Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system any time soon, that’s not because of a lack of deals though. Black Friday 2014 deals for the AT&T Lumia 635 smartphone are coming in pretty fast.
The first is a classic Black Friday 2014 deal in every sense. Electronics retailer Best Buy will offer the AT&T GoPhone version of the Lumia 635 for $39.99 off contract. No rebates or extra purchases are required at all. Normally, the AT&T Lumia 635 would cost $99 without a two-year contract. Best Buy will offer the cheap Lumia 635 for one day only, November 28th while supplies last. Once it’s out of [...]

Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore and Terry Meyerson revealed that Windows 10 will be the next major version of Windows to come to smartphones, according to The Verge. The revelation came during a question and answer session in which the two were asked outright about their plans for Windows 10 and beyond.
In response to being asked [...]
