Tasks Come To Google Calendar
I live and die by tasks. I’ve been using Things on my Mac and iPhone to manage my tasks and it works really well. Having tasks available while living in the cloud is a handy thing, though, and is something that Things does lack.
Google has finally added a way to more easily work with your Tasks gadget from within Calendar, something that has been available in Gmail for awhile. Head over to Gmail / Labs and enable the Tasks Gadget. Then, click the Tasks link on the left side of your Calendar to display it on the right side. You can also display your tasks as a secondary calendar, too. Head over to Google’s Tasks Help page for more info.
Now, if Google would just integrate emails that are starred and have them show up as Tasks, I’d be really rocking. Outlook 2007 has that feature and it works quite nicely.
