By now, almost all of The Division preloads should be available. Ubisoft staggered them ahead of the game’s release date.
Anyone that purchased a digital copy of the game through the Xbox Store should be able to download the game now ahead of release. Preloads for Steam and UPlay gamers on PC should be live too. On March 6th, pre-loads for the PS4 will start for everyone outside of Japan. Japanese PS4 pre-loads begin on March 8th. You should know that pre-loading isn’t something that gets you early access to the game before its release date. Digital downloaders still won’t be able to access the game’s servers until March 8th. Preloading is just a convenience so that digital buyers can start to enjoy their game as quickly on release day as those buying a disc. |
