Verizon HTC One Appears on Verizon’s Website

A Verizon HTC One sign up page has emerged on the carrier’s website offering prospective buyers a glimpse at the Verizon HTC One and its branding ahead of its rumored August release date.

The HTC One for Verizon had been one of the most heavily rumored smartphones of the year before HTC and Verizon confirmed it for arrival this summer. However, the device continues to be the source of rumors as the device, while official, still is without any official release date other than the official line of it coming out sometime this summer.

HTC and Verizon have remained mum on the device and continue to remain that way despite rumors of a release date sometime in the month of August. We’ve already seen the device rumored for August 15th and August 29th, but neither of those dates have been set in stone. We do, however, have another Verizon HTC One clue that has emerged today ahead of launch.

We have found a Verizon HTC One sign up page that has appeared on Verizon’s website. The page isn’t heavily advertised but it can be found using a simple search of the HTC One on Verizon’s official site. The page doesn’t offer much in terms of a release date, but it does show off the device’s Verizon branding and confirms that it will be coming with the same metal design as the other models.

The sign up page sticks to the “summer” release date line that consumers have been given for weeks now, since its launch in early June. The sign up page is a sign that we could see something emerge soon as we’ve seen sign up pages emerge just weeks ahead of release in the past. However, nothing is set in stone until Verizon sets it in stone.

Verizon’s HTC One is expected to debut with the same internals as the HTC One on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile though it is expected to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

I would actually say that the DROID Bionic is the worst launch by Verizon but the HTC One is a really close second

The phone reads Sept 5. This has to be the date. This is the second time Big Red released a picture with that date.

Verizon is afraid that it will upstage its baby moto x . Usually business motos is customer service not in bed with manufacture service
