Verizon’s Motorola Xoom Vendetta Commercial
Verizon’s airing another Motorola Xoom commercial that I think is pretty good. The commercial highlights an Android version of Vendetta Online, a game that’s also available for Windows, OSX and Linux devices. The commercial shows an actor grabbing the Motorola Xoom and a spacecraft wrapping around him while he plays the game.

A voiceover tells viewers about the Xoom and why it’s capable of playing complex games:
“With the velocity of a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 3-D graphics engine, gyroscope, and a widescreen HD display. Grab it and it grabs you.”
When I first saw this ad last night I immediately wanted to try the game out myself on my Xoom. Unfortunately, the game is not yet available on Android Market on the Xoom. Great ad, but the timing may be a bit premature.
Another Motorola Xoom commercial is also airing that suggest the Xoom is everything a tablet should be.

I saw this commercial a few days ago too and it really grabbed my attention. I thought it was very “flashy” and featured the Xoom well. I am both surprised and disappointed to hear that Verizon decided to feature a video game that is not available to use on the Xoom. Perhaps it was meant to give anticipation in conjunction with the game maker for a future release. I don’t have to wait for watching live TV on the Xoom though because my DISH Network employee Sling adapter will allow me to watch TV right now. I have an iPad though and use it to watch TV everywhere. My only complaint is that the Xoom is not available for WiFi yet since that would be more convenient for me.
