VIA’s Tim Brown Walks Us Through Their Current and Upcoming Lineup
VIA’s Nano is looking to dethrone Intel’s Atom processor as ruler of the netbook world. Tim Brown takes us for a brief tour through the current devices currently available in Asian and European markets and shows us a unique 11.6″ concept netbook that bridges the gap between devices with a small 8.9″ or even 10.2″ screen and a 12.1″ ultra-portable notebook. The demos shown at VIA’s Lunch at Piero’s event all ran smoothly and rendered video flawlessly. VIA hopes to make a bigger splash in the American market in the upcoming year now that the Nano processor is fully operational and implemented in Asia and Europe. Check out the video after the jump.

Did you happen to catch a glimpse of what the screen resolution was on that 11.6 inch monitor? That sounds like a beautiful option for a 1280×800 resolution or something in that ballpark at least.
Great video – very excited to see what Via has to bring to the table.
