It appears that the current stable of Android 3.0 (and Android 3.1) Honeycomb tablets will be joined by yet another device at the end of this month with the Viewsonic 7x rumored to be ready for an uveiling on May 31st at Computex in Taipei.

Viewsonic 7x Honeycomb Tablet

If true, the Viewsonic 7x would be the first 7-inch Honeycomb tablet to hit the market meaning it will likely beat the HTC Flyer and the HTC EVO View 4G to the punch. It’s currently unknown if the other major 7-inch tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, will be getting a bump to Android 3.0.

The Viewsonic 7x will apparently also have some other intriguing specs on board as well including a dual-core Tegra 2 processor from NVIDIA, rear and front facing cameras, HSPA+ speeds  DLNA and HDMI support, and it will apparently weigh 380 grams.

It’s currently unknown whether the 7x will come rocking Android 3.0 or if it will arrive with Google’s latest and greatest tablet operating system, Android 3.1, which was announced yesterday at the company’s Google I/O conference.

While the device might launch at Computex, it apparently won’t hit shelves until some point in June for an unknown price.

Anyone now postponing their HTC Flyer purchase until the beginning of June?
