Where To Pre-order the PlayStation 4

Published

on

The Sony PlayStation 4 is now available for pre-order from a number of retailers both as a standalone console and as a bundle with at least one game.

During its press conference Sony announced the PlayStation 4 will sell for $399 this holiday season, undercutting the Xbox One by $100. Now that Sony announced the price and showed off the console, retailers can finally offer pre-orders for the device. None of the retailers have a firm release date for the console, however.

Gamers who want to buy the PlayStation 4 as a standalone console can buy it from Amazon or from Best Buy. Both retailers offer the console for the $399 price point that Sony announced at the press conference, Amazon currently lists the console as shipping on December 31, 2013, though it will likely ship before them.

Best Buy doesn’t list a ship date for the console, but it does offer the option to pick up the console in store for those who don’t want to wait for UPS or FedEx to drop off the PlayStation 4.

GameStop also offers pre-orders for the PlayStation 4, but currently only offers it as part of a bundle. Interested gamers can buy the PlayStation 4 with Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, NBA Live 14, Drive Club or a collection of EA sports titles. The bundles start at $459.98 for the PS4 with NBA Live 14, essentially the price of the console and one game. Three of the five bundles cost $519.97, $120 more than the cost of the console itself.

All three retailers also offer pre-orders for PlayStation 4 games such as Watch Dogs, Infamous: Second Son, Assassin’s Creed IV, Skylanders Swap Force Starter Pack and Need For Speed Rivals. The games all cost $60, the same price as current PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 games. While the games have much better graphics and offer new experiences, gamers won’t have to pay any extra for them.

Ummm…. no. Gamestop offers it standalone as well. You have to go into the store to pre order it, but they do offer standalone.

Source: I just pre ordered it.

$100.00 to pre-order at my local GameStop. $5 to pre-order an extra DualShock controller, and $5 to pre-order the PS4 Eye (or whatever it’s called, and it’s $59.00).

Did they charge you right away? I need to know. I’d like to be charged upon shipment, I just want a reservation.

Mate, I have ordered tons of items.
And received a failure message stating their sales email ([email protected]) does not exist.

The owner hides his identity with a service, but I figured out his paypal email,

      [email protected]

but 0 responds up till now.

I hope we can be witnesses in case we are scammed.

Because if it’s more than 30 days, the paypal protection may no longer be valid.

I ordered mine from Preorderheavan in september. I recived the “confirmation” email about my order. I paid via Paypal and my status on thier site says i have paid. I have emailed them on two seperate occasion and recived replies about my order. One of the replies stated my order would be shipped to me (New Zealand) on the 19 November. Today is the 19 November. I have emailed them for a status update but get teh delivery failed notification for the sales@preorderheavan address. I have yet to recieve any communication from them that i havent initiated. I have also used their website “contact us” tab, twitter and facebook to gain contact with them with no luck. All within the last two days. Needless to say i am getting nervous and concerned i may have been scammed. I just hope PayPal can help.

They told me I would receive mine between the 15-19 and I am still waiting. My papypal transaction info has disappeared and I cannot contact the site since they don’t reply. I think its safe to say I have been scammed. I’m starting to hate PayPal.

The transaction should still be there, just check your history. Or look through the statements on your card. Your credit card company will help you. I called PayPal and since it was over 45 days they could not help me. But I told them I would not know I have been scammed until it was released. So they said they will try to contact him and to call my card company so I can get my money back. You should try the same. Maybe the more people that report the more likely they will get down to the bottom of this.

call your visa company and get then to contact paypal, informing them that you have paid. Paypal SHOULD honour the refund, as they know preorderheaven is a scam

PayPal will help if you let them know you preordered the item. So you wouldn’t know you were scammed until it was released.

We just called Paypal and they said they will try to reach the seller and if they don’t hear back from them they will refund our money on December 1. Said it was a one time courtesy because our account is in good standing. So there is hope! Strange thing, right after that we received an email from Preorder Heaven from the [email protected] (which hasn’t been working) that our order has been declined! Good luck to you all!

I ordered from them in September. Was told I would have the ps4 on launch day(through the website) when I sent them an email asking when I should expect my ps4 the told me it would show up after launch date. I then sent multiple emails and never got a response. Paypal should make am exception, my bank also issued a fraud case and refunded my money as of today. This site is still up, but be assured the site is a scam.
