Anyone interested in Tablet PC’s in education should check out this workshop going on at Purdue University in June.  There are some great people organizing the event backed by companies like HP, Microsoft Research and DyKnow! Read  below for important details on registration and the chance to win some cool prizes!!

The Schedule for WIPTE 2007 (Workshop on the Impact of Pen-based Technology on Education) is now posted on the WIPTE Web Site.  The on-line registration system is now active and accepting registrations.

The workshop will take place on June 11th and 12th at Purdue University and is intended to identify and share best practices in the educational use of pen-based computing (most notably Tablet PCs) in a variety of disciplines, including those that are of interest to SIGCSE members.

Everyone who registers by May 14 will be entered in a drawing, with winners to receive cool prizes from our WIPTE corporate sponsors!  Prizes will include digital cameras, software, and hand-held devices. Winners must be present at the drawing (at the end of the workshop) to collect their prizes.

I will also be in attendance with some GottaBeMobile swag to give out.
