XCOM 2 Release: 5 Things Gamers Need to Know

Console gamers are left out in the cold with this announcement that does not include a XCOM 2 PS4 or Xbox One release. This is surprising given the widespread released of XCOM: Enemy Within that included consoles and even iOS. Sean Knight of Castle Pyramid believes 2K Games is holding out for an exclusive deal with Sony or Microsoft before announcing a XCOM 2 console version. Sony does not offer many exclusives this year and this could play a role in the game. An exclusive XCOM 2 release on PS4 or Xbox One offers 2K Games an opportunity to get cash and advertising support for the game. If this will happen in 2015, expect an announcement during the Sony or Microsoft E3 2015 events. | ||||||
