YouTube Launches First Web Show to Help You Find the Best Videos

YouTube is launching a new daily web show that will focus on curating all of the best videos that YouTube has to offer, and it’s called YouTube Nation.

YouTube Nation will air every day at 9 PM ET and each episode will run for approximately five minutes each, focusing on helping viewers “discover great creators and channels through daily videos and playlists.” Essentially, YouTube describes it as “a five-minute experience that includes a rich mix of videos, themed playlists, channel creator highlights and fan feedback.”

A show like this should be a huge hit for YouTube addicts, and considering that there millions upon millions of videos on YouTube, it’s impossible to find and watch every single good video out there, but YouTube thinks that its new daily web show will help those who are at least trying.

DreamWorks Animation is overseeing production of the daily web show, while YouTube itself will be providing support, managing sales and handling various marketing tasks.

The first episode is live right now, and you can watch it above. It features a new web series based on football and even a video describing a skydiving world record attempt. Each YouTube Nation episode will include a playlist full of the videos featured in the episode to make it easy for viewers to watch the videos once they’re done watching the YouTube Nation episode.
