Offline Games

If you're going through a rather stressful flight due to turbulence or timing it's good to have distractions. Music is great, but sometimes it's nice to have a game or two on hand to help take your mind off the plane and your arrival.

While some games require an internet connection to be enjoyable, others can be enjoyed without access to Wi-Fi.

Two of my favorites over the years are Domino from FlyClops and Tiny Wings from popular developer Andreas Illiger. Tiny Wings is a simple game, but I can't tell you how many times I've picked it up during a rough flight and felt better.

Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2 are two of my favorite puzzle games and they'll keep your brain occupied while you wait for your flight or while you're stuck in Coach for five hours plus.

Two other games that never seem to get old: Alto's Adventure and Alto's Odyssey. Both games are endless which means you could, in theory, play them for an entire five hour flight.

Try these games, or other favorites, and you'll be surprised how fast your flight will go.
