Originally, Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL rumors hinted at 32GB of internal storage which would've posed some big problems given that they're not expected to include a microSD slot for expanded storage. This is what makes the latest rumors so exciting.

According to a new report, the two devices are coming in two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB. This doesn't match phones like the iPhone XS, but it should be more than enough for most people. 

I'm currently using an iPhone X with 256GB of internal storage (with no microSD card slot) and I've only used up 104GB of space. This is over the course of nearly two years.

The lack of a microSD card slot is a bit disappointing, but most of you should be perfectly fine with 64GB and 128GB of storage. If you need more, there's always the cloud.
