Mysteries Will Finally Be Solved

If you played Shenmue 1 and Shenmue 2, you probably found yourself wrapped up in Ryo's storyline that includes his murdered father, the mysterious Lan Di, the Phoenix Mirror, and more. We're not going to post any spoilers here but know that the story was intriguing. And unfinished. 

Shenmue 2 ended on a huge cliffhanger and Suzuki is quick to note that Shenmue 3 is going to tie-up many of these loose ends. From the site:

"The story continues as Ryo and Shenhua start off on a new journey that will take them farther into enemy territory, deeper into mystery, and ever closer to their destiny. 

Will the mystery of the mirrors be revealed? How is Ryo’s father connected to all of this? Will Ryo track down the Chi You Men cartel and face Lan Di in a final showdown?"

We have a feeling the game will answer a lot of these questions. It'd better. People have been waiting for answers for fourteen years.
