We're testing out the Griffin Survivor Case for the iPhone 5 and it gives us nice rugged protection for the iPhone. The iPhone 5c version costs $49.99 and comes in black or black/pink. We're impressed with the case so far and think it will hold up to most punishment. They promise that it's designed to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F specifications. It guards the phone from dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration and other environmental dangers.

A shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame rests inside rugged, shock-absorbing silicone. The built-in screen protector seals the phone's display from the harsh environment. Port covers seal the dock connector, headphone jack, power switch, mute button and volume controls.
