Screen Off Memo & More

Did you know you can write on the Galaxy Note 8 screen even when it's turned off? Just pull out the stylus and start writing on the screen. This is amazing for taking notes or writing down an email really fast. When you put the S-Pen back it instantly saves your note. That's how you take a screen-off memo.

New to the Galaxy Note 8 though is an expanded version of Screen Off Memo. Now you can instantly start writing on the screen when the phone is off, and write up to 100 pages. It's overkill, but just know you won't hit any sort of limit for taking notes. Then, there's an option to access past notes for editing or deletion on the fly, without turning on the phone.

It's the little things like this that makes using the Note 8 fast and easy.

For the sake of time, we're rounding the last few neat features into this one slide. The Note 8 features Samsung Pay, where you can use your phone to pay for stuff at 95% of stores in the United States. This works with NFC like Apple Pay, but also any swipe-based magnetic terminal we've all used for years. It's backward compatible with both.

You'll also enjoy having a 3.5mm headphone jack, a personal assistant at all times with Samsung Bixby, or turn the Note 8 into a game console. Simply get the Gear VR headset and controller to experience things in another dimension. Enjoy your Galaxy Note. If you're considering buying one, these are the best Note 8 deals.

Why does iPhone always get mentioned in these reviews when they are always late to the party? Apple is not a pioneer, they are exceptional at making existing tech work in their devices not creating new technology! So please stop it with iPhone mentions!
