Group FaceTime

Apple finally supports Group FaceTime calls. Until now you'd need a third party app to talk to two people at once on a Mac or iPhone, but with iOS 12 and macOS Mojave you get support for up to 32 people.

The feature shows an array of users across your screen, focusing on who is talking, or allowing you to pick one participant to look at in full. Other users will need to be on iOS 12 or macOS Mojave for this to work.

On iPhone and iPad users can also bring Animoji and Memoji to the party instead of showing your face. This will also integrate with iMessage so you can quickly start a Group FaceTime call with people in a group message.

Members can join with video, or join with just audio. The Apple Watch even supports joining with audio only.
