Wait for the First Batch of Bug Fix Updates

The Battlefield 5 launch hasn't mirrored the catastrophic Battlefield 4 release, but there are still plenty of bugs and performance issues.

Battlefield 4 was a complete mess at launch, but EA DICE got its act together in 2016 with the release of Battlefield 1. Still, the popular World War I sim was plagued with a long list of bugs and performance issues  and it took weeks for the game to stabilize.

DICE's games are huge with tons of moving parts and headaches are inevitable. Battlefield 5 alpha and beta testing helped the developer cut down on the number of day one problems, but issues have slipped through the cracks into the final release.

If you hate dealing with bugs, performance problems, and server issues, you might want to take a rain check and wait for DICE to roll out a few bug fix updates before buying.

We expect a flurry of updates to emerge in the weeks after its released and these patches should correct the most glaring bugs and help stabilize the game.

Just to let you know there is a spacing typo for the requirements section. It threw me off there for a second. Happy Holidays and thanks for the article!
