Google’s Android 7.1.2 Nougat update is now available for Nexus and Pixel devices and today we want to go over some reasons to, and not to, install the Android 7.1.2 update on your device right now.

Earlier this year Google confirmed an Android 7.1.2 Nougat update with a beta. The beta release let select Nexus and Pixel users test the software and its changes well ahead of the official release date.

In early April, Google pulled the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update from beta and released it for devices like the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 5X.
