If you're dealing with severe Android Nougat problems, and you can't seem to find a fix, it might be a good idea to try the Android Oreo update. It could iron out those bugs and/or performance issues.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Android Oreo update isn't perfect, but there's a chance it improves your device's overall performance.

Galaxy S8 Oreo beta testers reported seeing general improvements like improved battery life and a smoother user interface and we're starting to see similar feedback from Galaxy S8 users using the official version of Android 8.0.

Android updates, particularly major releases, have been known to iron out common performance issues like severe battery drain, random reboots, and connectivity problems (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular data, GPS). In fact, Samsung's Galaxy S8 Oreo update limits background services to improve performance and battery life.

If your Samsung Galaxy S8 is tied to a specific carrier, there's a good chance your carrier will tack on additional bug fixes to Android Oreo.

If you're really struggling on the Android 7.0 Nougat update you might want to test Android 8.0 Oreo's performance on your device.

If you're already on Android Oreo and there's a new update available for your device, you might want to give it a shot. Samsung and its partners are rolling out bug fixes for Oreo problems and the new build could work wonders for your phone.

This update is rubbish. It slowed my phone down in all aspects. It heats up now which it never did to this degree. Wish I never updated. Argh
