Install If You Take a Ton of Screenshots

If you take a ton of screenshots in lots of different apps and you'd like to know exactly where those screenshots came from, you might try the beta.

Samsung's Android Oreo update comes with a tiny, but potentially useful change to the way screenshots are named on Galaxy devices.

If you're running the Android Oreo beta you'll notice the screenshot filename will now mention the app in which you took said screenshot.

So for instance, if you take a screenshot in YouTube it will now say Screenshot_YouTube instead of something more generic. The app name appears alongside the current date and time.

This change will help better organize screenshots and also make them easier to find. We take a ton of screenshots here at Gotta Be Mobile and this little tweak will make them much easier to track down on our Galaxy devices.

support team Hi. I’m Adina from Iran. I have a Samsung mobile phone that has a Galaxy S6 model. When I bought Android, I was upgrading to the 5 lollipop, which was gradually upgraded to 6 and 7. I plan to update 7.1.1 or Android O, but I’m sorry to say that Samsung’s representative in Iran does not provide good support. I also contacted your representative in the United States, but they tell me that our information is limited to American phones. I wanted to know if you might be using ota on Android 7.1.1 Or send me the Android 8? I’d love to have this version of Android on my phone. Give me some guidance. Thank you samsung galaxy s6
