Install the Beta for Custom Colored Folders

If you've got cluttered home screens, or you simply want to keep your app shortcuts organized, this feature is right up your alley.

If you've got a ton of apps on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+, you might have some of them tucked away into folders. If you do, note that Android Oreo will give you some more control over how your folders look.

If you tap on the icon next to the folder’s name you'll see a list of color options. If you select the multi-colored option, you can select a custom color for your folder. Samsung's included a nice color wheel in the Android 8.0 beta.

Once you select the color you want, you simply tap “Done” and the folder you've selected will now change to the appropriate color.

It's a simple change, but it's one that could help you stay organized while giving your home screen a bit of character in the process.

support team Hi. I’m Adina from Iran. I have a Samsung mobile phone that has a Galaxy S6 model. When I bought Android, I was upgrading to the 5 lollipop, which was gradually upgraded to 6 and 7. I plan to update 7.1.1 or Android O, but I’m sorry to say that Samsung’s representative in Iran does not provide good support. I also contacted your representative in the United States, but they tell me that our information is limited to American phones. I wanted to know if you might be using ota on Android 7.1.1 Or send me the Android 8? I’d love to have this version of Android on my phone. Give me some guidance. Thank you samsung galaxy s6
