Install If You Hate Android Oreo's Performance

If you can't stand Android Oreo's performance on your Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+, give the Android Pie beta a shot.

Samsung's version of Android 9.0 Pie comes with several performance improvements including changes to Device Maintenance, now called Device Care.

The company says performance modes are now streamlined and integrated into Power saving modes making it easier than ever to get a handle on key areas of your device's performance.

There's also a good chance you'll see general performance improvements like better battery life and a smoother user interface.

Betas have also been known to iron out other issues like random reboots, Wi-Fi connectivity problems, and broken Bluetooth.

If you're really struggling on Android Oreo, try the Android Pie beta. You can always drop back down to Android Oreo if you don't see an improvement.
