Of course the new Nexus 5X will launch with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it will have tons of awesome new features. We've seen some already on the developer preview, but Google likely saved a few neat things for the actual announcement which is next Tuesday.

Along with a better camera, big battery and a fingerprint scanner is USB Type-C ports.  This brings reversible universal cords for charging and syncing, and blazing fast USB 3.0 transfer speeds, not to mention Quick Charging technology. Charging will be easier, Quick Charge makes it faster, and data transfer will be quicker as well. Basically USB Type-C is the future, and Google will lead the pack with this. The Galaxy Note 5 decided not to use one, and the new OnePlus 2 has a fake USB Type-C connector that is still USB 2.0 speeds, with no added benefits aside from being reversible and can plug in either direction.

With the new Nexus devices we’ll be treated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which was announced back in May and set to be released before the end of Q3.

Google's improved Android 5.0 Lollipop by leaps and bounds. Added better security, battery saving features like Doze, Google Now on Tap (looks to be amazing) and much much more. These new Nexus devices will take advantage of everything smartphones and Android has to offer, not just some, like most of the competition.
