A Galaxy Watch LTE model is reportedly in development in the United States and it looks like the model will be available on popular U.S. carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

In addition to LTE, the Galaxy Watch could come with upgraded internals (expect a new processor, more memory), a thinner design, and improvements in areas that matter to smartwatch users, namely health and fitness.

The company is reportedly working on improvements to the the health and fitness features in S Health, the company's health solution.

The Galaxy Watch is rumored to have in-depth sleep tracking, something that could come in handy for those of trying maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Thanks to an FCC filing, we now know that the Galaxy Watch's screen size will be a little bit different than the Gear S3's.

The filing states that the Galaxy Watch display measures 30.2mm which translates to 1.19-inches diagonally. Samsung's Gear S3 Classic and Frontier come with a 1.3-inch display. Shrinking the display should help the device appeal to those with smaller wrists.

This will be Samsung's most powerful smartwatch to date. So if the Gear S3 or the Apple Watch 3 leave you feeling underwhelmed, you might want to stick around and wait for the new Galaxy Watch models to arrive.
