5 Reasons to Wait for the Samsung Galaxy Watch & 2 Reasons Not To

Don't Wait If You Can't Wait Until August

If you don't think you can wait until August to buy your next smartwatch, don't bother waiting for the Galaxy Watch. 

We haven't heard anything about a surprise launch in July so as of right now it looks like Samsung will probably debut the Galaxy Watch sometime in August, probably alongside the Galaxy Note 9 and Bixby 2.0 on August 9th with a release coming later in the month.

There's also a slight chance the company saves the Galaxy Watch announcements for the IFA 2018 trade show in late August. 

At this point, a launch in August is the most likely launch scenario. We don't see the Galaxy Watch coming any sooner than August 9th.

If you can't wait or simply don't want to wade through several more weeks of rumor or speculation, think about looking elsewhere.
