T-Mobile also says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy Note 4 is the company's Note flagship from last year. And while Samsung's software support for the fourth-gen Galaxy Note has left something to be desired, it will be moving up to Android Marshmallow.

Only some Galaxy Note 4 users have been upgraded to Android 5.1.1 in the United States and it's not clear how carriers will proceed. At this point, it could be that Samsung bakes the Android 5.1.1 fixes into the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. We'll see. Galaxy Note 4 users will want to be on their toes.

Since Samsung releases so many devices, it’s kind of understandable why they’re slow/hesitant to provide timely updates. I remember when Samsung said the Note 2 would get upgraded to 5.0… and that never happened.. so I’m not really holding my breath with my Note 4, but if it does come I don’t expect it to be until around 2016 and I’m sure it would be the only major update given for that phone.
