Walmart offers a 50% discount on the 3 month Xbox Live subscription, but you are better off buying a longer subscription. A six month subscription normally costs $39.99 and a year is $59.99, but you can save on those with some deals that will knock the price down to about $40 for a year. 

Unless you only need 3 months for some reason, and you don't plan to renew later on this isn't the best deal you will find. Even if you buy four of them you will only save $10 over buying a year directly from Microsoft at full price. In the end, that will be $10 more than if you buy a deal on a year of Xbox Live.  

Instead of buying these cards, you should just buy a $40 Xbox Live 12 month subscription. You can find many on eBay for $39.99 to $43 and we expect to see many other seals on the service. You can also get your first month for $1 and $10 off a six month subscription directly from Xbox.
