5 Walmart Black Friday 2018 Deals to Avoid

Every year RCA is a big part of Walmart Black Friday deals with discounts on laptops and tablets. This looks like an epic deal at just $89 for a tablet with keyboard that runs Windows 10. 

However this deal is too good to be true. When we look at reviews for this model and for similar Black Friday deals from previous years, we start to see a history of defective products and lackluster customer support. 

Reviewer mitch1950 writes,"This 2 in 1 Tablet is very attractive, but that is about where it ends. When I tried to do the initial setup it said the PC needed to be repaired. After several hours of frustration, I opened the settings and had to perform a complete system clean and spent 6 hours reinstalling the entire system. I must say I have 3 other RCA tablets and this one is by far the worst of them all. What internal storage there is, 75% is taken up with the startup. The speakers are terrible and sound tinny and for a quad-core the speed is horrendous. The IPS is good and the screen resolution is good as well. I was going to return it but after spending all this time getting it to work I decided to keep it and hope to be able to tweak the system to make it faster and better. Would I recommend this tablet...NO!!! RCA can do better than this disapointment."

The upside is that RCA customer service appears to be more active this year in the Walmart review area, but you're going to get a much better experience spending $10 more on the Samsung Chromebook 3 at Walmart or the HP Stream 11.
