iPhone 8 True Tone Display

iPhone 8 True Tone Display

I’ve used a True Tone display on the iPad Pro for a year, but it really shines on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus since I use it in more locations and in more odd lighting situations, which is where it really shines.

This technology adjusts the white balance based on the lighting you are in, to make the display look better all the time. You don't need to be a display snob to notice this. It's most noticeable on white backgrounds like when reading webpages, eBooks or just using your favorite app to catch up on social media or Reddit.

The display looks better than the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with True Tone alone, but it also comes with a wide color gamut for better color accuracy and more vibrant colors as well as support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 which will make your movies look better when they support HDR.
