8 Exciting Smartphones for 2013

Published

on

In the next few days, the last two big name smartphones of the year will arrive on Verizon in the form of the Droid DNA and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The devices will likely put a cap on 2012, a year which saw the release of a host of fantastic smartphones. And as we head into 2013, it’s time to take a look at several smartphones that we think will take the place of 2012’s best in the days to come.

2012 was packed full of amazing smartphone releases. From the first iPhone with a large screen and 4G LTE data speeds to the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to the HTC One X and its fantastic display to the first LG Nexus on the Nexus 4 to the release of Windows Phone 8, 2012 has been a fruitful month for phone enthusiasts and average consumers alike.

Needless to say, those buying a smartphone sometime during the rest of 2012 have quite a few options to choose from, and some fantastic options at that. But what about those that are waiting for 2013 to buy a new phone either by choice or because they’re locked into a contract?

Fortunately for those waiting to buy, 2013 should be chock full of fantastic releases as well. We’ve already heard murmuring about some high-end devices that will be coming to shelves, including an iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S4, and we can also make some educated guesses about other potential devices that should be due in 2013. Here, we paint a picture of what consumers can expect from 2013 as we look at what we think will be the most exciting devices in the upcoming year.

iPhone 5S

iPhone 5S

Rumors are already swirling about Apple's next iPhone, the iPhone 5S. Not much is known about Apple's next iPhone other than that the company may release it in the middle of 2013 rather than at the end of it like it did with the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S.

One feature that consumers can expect at this point is iOS 7 as Apple tends to release a new version of iOS with it yearly smartphone.

As it has with other iPhones, we expect Apple to make some other powerful upgrades to the next iPhone which will make it more attractive than the iPhone 5 already is.

Release Date: Rumored for Mid-2013.

I think you should wait, just think if you upgrade then the new one arrives you will have to pay full retail price if you don’t have an available upgrade or add another line and do a cross upgrade

Galaxy s4 its the best Apple is the worst company there phones suck, Anyone who puts their minds two it can make a better phone than apple everything they make rips people off, technology is advancing apple needs to wake up, they have no way of catching up to better phones like the s4,htc one, Sony xperia and windows phone.
