7-Inch HTC Flyer Gets Honeycomb ROM Leak

Published

on

For many, the biggest complaint with the 7-inch HTC Flyer Android tablet that launched with HTC’s Sense UI and the HTC Scribe pen functionality is that the slate did not debut with Android Honeycomb. Now that Android 3.2 Honeycomb is appearing for many slates–Android 3.2 is said to bring Honeycomb to the 7-inch form factor–and HTC’s launching its Sense UI on the HTC Jetstream 4G 10-inch tablet for AT&T in the U.S., the company may be looking to upgrade its 7-inch Flyer to the same Honeycomb experience given that there are now leaked Honeycomb ROMs available for the slate.

Right now, the Honeycomb update for the Flyer appears to be an early leaked beta. for those brave enough to upgrade, the ROM is posted over at MoDaCo.
