We've spent a few days with the iPhone X's iOS 12.4.1 update and performance is holding up as we push into September.

We haven't seen any major battery drain. Some users are noticing unstable battery life after making the move, but the battery life on the iPhone X models in our possession hasn't changed. We're able to get a full day of use out when using a mixture of Wi-Fi and cellular data.

iOS 12.4.1 still feels a lot faster than iOS 11. Apps open much faster and animations and transitions (like going from a FaceTime Audio call back to the home screen) are much crisper. There's still a very noticeable difference.

We haven't run into any major problems with our core applications as we've kept them updated with support updates throughout the year. If you're having issues with your apps on iOS 12.4.1, make sure you download the latest versions from the App Store.

Bluetooth and GPS are working normally. We've successfully connected our iPhone X to several Bluetooth devices including headphones and speakers. No problems there.

We ran into Wi-Fi issues on iOS 12.0, but those problems were resolved in iOS 12.0.1. We haven't noticed any issues with iOS 12.4.1 though some users are reporting issues with Wi-Fi and cellular data.

We recommend iOS 12.4.1 for most iPhone X users. If you're feeling leery and want some additional feedback about the software, take a look at our list of reasons to and not to install iOS 12.4.1 today

With 12.3.1 my iPhone X back camera shakes like there is an earthquake for both video and photos, also it adds some random clicking sounds. Though none of my colleagues experience the same problems with their iPhones.
