Terrific Xbox on Windows 10 Games: Minecraft for Xbox One
Minecraft for Xbox One needs no introduction; gamers have enjoyed it on other platforms for years. This version sports in-store purchases for new skins and costs just $9.99 – half of what the other versions do. That’s because it is beta at the moment. Besides Survival Mode, it sports online play with friends and other devices. Microsoft plans to add Minecraft Realms support so that players can visit each other’s worlds at any time. This version has Xbox Live Achievements.

One of the first legitimate hardcore Windows 10 games to arrive after Microsoft had upgraded the Windows Store was Rise of the Tomb Raider. The game doesn’t show off some of the features that are possible with the platform. For example, game saves don’t sync between this version and the Xbox One version.
That being said, the game looks absolutely gorgeous on the right hardware. In-store purchases allow Windows 10 users to expand on what’s available through a season pass or buying content outright. Also featured are cloud saves, Xbox One Controller support and Achievements.
In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara digs into her father’s past to get a handle on what it says about her future and their relationship. In the previous game, she accidentally became the Tomb Raider. In this game, she defines what being the Tomb Raider means and why it’s important to her.

A fighting game with some brutal combos and guest appearances from across Microsoft’s portfolio. That’s what Killer Instinct offers Windows 10 users. The game is free to download and includes Xbox Live Achievements and cloud game saving. New for Season 3 is the Arbiter, a pivotal character from the Halo universe.

Dragon Mania Legends is a nod to casual gamers and creature collectors worldwide. In the game, you collect different elemental dragons for turn-based battles with enemies. In addition to that, you get to construct your own dedicated island to house your dragons.

On PCs and devices of all types, Telltale Games debuted the latest Minecraft experience last year. Minecraft Story Mode isn’t a sandbox and crafting game. You don’t have to build things to protect yourself when the sun goes down. It’s an episodic adventure for those who love the Minecraft lore and are interested in a linear story. There’s Xbox Live Achievements, just like every other game in this list.

The very latest of Microsoft’s blockbuster Windows 10 games to arrive, Quantum Break is a third-person shooter with amazing graphics and a decent story to tell. There’s no multiplayer to speak of, but the game syncs its saves with the Xbox One version. You can begin playing on one device and pick up where you left off on your living room Xbox One.
