Don't Expect an iPhone SE 2 in September

If you don't follow the Apple rumor mill you might not know about the iPhone SE 2 and its rumored journey to launch.

Again, Apple's rumored to be working on an new 4-inch iPhone and rumors have been all over the place in terms of release date. 

Some rumors pointed to a release in the first half of the year, others have pointed to a release in the second half of the year in Apple's fall window. 

Before you get too excited about a successor, note that the most credible Apple sources still haven't put a stamp of approval on the launch. 

KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple will release three new iPhones in 2018. However, all three will reportedly have large screens. 

This doesn't rule out an iPhone SE 2 launch in 2018, but it certainly doesn't instill any confidence. If you're hoping and praying for a new iPhone SE 2 in 2018, temper your expectations.

There's a chance Apple's fall iPhone/iPad event comes and goes without an iPhone SE 2 announcement. There's no guarantee we'll see an iPhone SE 2 emerge in 2019 either.
