Apple Pay Stores

Apple Pay is Apple’s digital payment platform that allows users to buy goods at a retail store by using their iPhone 6s or iPhone 6 at the register, instead of their wallet. However, before you walk into a store preparing to use Apple Pay, only a handful of stores support the new payment system. Here is a full list of stores that support Apple Pay right now

Many major retail chains support Apple Pay, and the payment platform launched initially with a wide range of stores and restaurants, but the list continues to grow. A handful of national chains that support Apple Pay include McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Staples, Walgreens, Subway, Whole Foods, Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and the Disney Store.

Users can even buy goods online using an app that supports Apple Pay, and there are plenty that are on board with it. Some of these notable apps include Groupon, Panera Bread, OpenTable, Starbucks, Sephora, Target, and even Uber.

Apple-Pay2

Apple Pay allows you to store your credit card information on your iPhone and use it to buy stuff at any store that supports Apple Pay. The iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6 have an NFC chip that allows you to tap the pay terminal at a store to instantly buy goods. Furthermore, doing this doesn’t give the store your credit card information, so you’re less susceptible to store hacks that steal credit card information, similar to the recent Home Depot and Target hacks.

Apple says that 220,000 store locations accept Apple Pay as a payment method, and that number will no doubt continue to grow into 2016 and beyond.
