Don't Expect Many, If Any, Straight Price Drops

The first Apple Watch 4 deals will likely be limited to trade-in offers. We don't expect to see many, if any, straight price cuts on the new Apple Watch 4 models around the release date. 

If you don't have an older smartwatch to trade-in or you simply don't want to deal with the trade-in process, you might have to wait until November, December, or next year for retailers to cut the price. 

We could see deals could emerge in late November around Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the start of the holiday shopping season. There's often one good deal on Black Friday, but it could be extremely difficult to get.

The best Apple Watch 4 deals probably won't emerge until 2019 once the holiday shopping season is over and the hype from the release has died down.
