While the engine is basically the same thing found in the Mercedes-AMG GT, it’s modified by Aston Martin for a unique character. Aston Martin use their own air intake, exhaust and wet sump lubrication system. If you’ve ever driven a modern Mercedes-AMG, you’ll know that the car makes a low rumble that roars when you put your foot down. The V8-powered Aston Martin does not sound like that.
