Even though Aston Martin has full access to the Daimler catalog, they’ve chosen not to bring the self-driving technology over. There is no adaptive cruise control. There is no autonomous emergency braking. There’s no lane departure warning or active lane keeping. Talking to the Aston team, we’re a bit surprised the DB11 even has an automatic transmission. They are folks who value the entire driving experience and we get the impression that you’d have to drag them kicking and screaming into the autonomous future.
