AT&T HTC One Android 4.3 Update Should Roll Out Tomorrow

Published

on

The AT&T HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, which was certified last week and promised for sometime this week, is expected to roll out at some point tomorrow though a specific release time is not yet known.

Last week, HTC finally announced when it would be rolling out its HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates in the United States, updates that were originally supposed to arrive in September. The company took to Twitter to announce the Sprint HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update roll out and that the AT&T and T-Mobile models would be getting the update by mid-October. It also claimed that the Verizon HTC One, which arrived with Android 4.2 on board, would be getting Android 4.3 before the end of October.

At the end of the week, HTC President Jason Mackenzie, who has been delivering tons of update information to users, claimed that the AT&T HTC One Android 4.3 update had cleared certifications and that it would be rolling out sometime this week. At the time, he did not say exactly when the update would roll out, only that it would be landing this week.

Mackenzie though has revealed that he expects the AT&T HTC One Android 4.3 update roll out to begin tomorrow, Tuesday, which means that owners should be on the lookout for the software sometime tomorrow. The Sprint HTC One Android 4.3 update rolled out in the morning and it could be that the AT&T update follows suit.

It’s not clear what will be on board the AT&T HTC One Android 4.3 update but it should closely mirror the Sprint update which not only brought Android 4.3 to owners but Sense 5 enhancements as well. Android 4.3 will mark the first major update for these devices and it should fix some of the lingering issues with Sense 5.

As for the T-Mobile and Verizon updates, no time frame has been revealed for the T-Mobile update just yet while Mackenzie says that the HTC One on Verizon is still set to get its Android 4.3 update by the end of the month. The HTC One Android 4.4 KitKat update has also been rumored but it’s not clear when it will be heading out to users.

Cone on now, you got the 4.2.2 before we got the 4.3 so just be patient. It hasn’t even been long enough for you to complain. We’ve been running 4.1.2 since the phone was released

    I’ll believe it when I
See something other than “no updates available”

I like how people continue to slam HTC for their updates or lack thereof, yet they get no love for being ahead of Samsung with this 4.3 update carrier release.
