The all new 2018 iPad Pro needs a new case thanks to the smaller size and new design. These are the best iPad Pro cases you can buy for the new 2018 model. These are designed with the thin size and new Apple Pencil charging in mind. We’re combining the best 11-inch iPad Pro cases and best 12.9-inch iPad Pro cases since they share the same overall design.

Why You Can Trust Me: I’ve been reviewing cases for close to a decade across phones and tablets. I know which cases can protect without adding too much bulk, how the models work on existing products and which cases last the long term.

Here are the best 2018 iPad Pro cases that you can buy;

All of these are important to consider as you shop for a case. If you buy the Apple Smart Keyboard, you may want to look into an iPad Pro skin to go with it. This case is made of a vegan leather with a polycarbonate hard shell that protects the iPad Pro from small drops and while it's in a bag or you're carrying it around.

The folio design includes a magnetic folio that folds over and stays closed. The interior of the folio flap is covered with microfiber to keep the screen safe and clean. This case allows you to use the iPad stood up, or at a smaller angle that's better for typing.

    I just want to find a slim case that protects the perimeter of the iPad Pro 12.9”, with shockproof corners and can still charge the pencil.

    I have yet to find any.
