While Google's new Nexus 9 tablet makes our list too, it cost significantly more than previous Nexus tablets, which means the Nexus 7 (2013) is still one of the best tablets available today. You'll only get a 7-inch screen, but it offers a full HD 1080p resolution. The tablet has already been updated to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, and it's still one of the best options this holiday season, even if it's over a year old.
