The HTC One, which features a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 4 megapixel camera with the HTC’s new “UltraPixel” technology and 4.7 inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, is the company’s latest attempt at creating one killer device to beat back Samsung’s incoming Galaxy S4 and the Apple iPhone 5.

Yes, the HTC One does ship with all of those components, and does so in a machined aluminum frame. But potential owners will likely be on the lookout for cases to protect what is looking to be a $200-$300 phone, depending on configuration. Here are the best HTC One cases.

Otterbox’s One Defender Series for the HTC One delivers a silicone outer layer covered by a polycarbonate plastic shell. It has a built-in screen protector and belt clip for when a user might want to keep their pockets electronics-free. So basically people are gonna make fun of Samsung for using Polycarbonate plastic when they’re probably gonna protect their HTC One’s aluminum body with Polycarbonate plastic lmao.

I have hadHTC phones since 2005. I am on my 5th. Exceleent build quality. Samsung may have more features (many you will never use), but HTC is a phone for professionals and grown ups.

I can confirm that my Otterbox Commuter series case came with a screen protector, though I don’t intend to use it. It is one of those typical, flimsy cheap screen protector, but it does come with one!

Hopefully HTC passed on Jellybean 4.2 because they are secretly working on Key Lime Pie. Would be huge for HTC to beat Samsung to the next version of Android.

I bought 2 i-Blason cases, for my HTC One.
The first is light-duty polycarbonate, for everyday use (thin, easy in & out of pocket, still protects back & sides, while giving it a ‘lip-over’, to protect the screen, when laid on its face).
The other is a thicker, 2-piece, heavier-duty silicon/polycarbonate, that I use when biking, running or other higher risk activities.
Got them both for less than the cheapest Otterbox, from Amazon Prime.
