Speck Presidio Grip for Galaxy Note 9

Speck Presidio Grip for Galaxy Note 9

One of the best cases for the last 7-8 years is the Speck Presidio Grip. This is truly one of the first extremely rugged and durable cases that didn't make you feel like you're holding a brick.

Basically, you'll get a thin case that's super strong. Each Speck Presidio Grip is made from a hard polycarbonate shell. However, they add slits to the frame and squeeze soft impact-resistant TPU material through the gaps. This adds to the overall durability, makes it easier to grip so you won't drop your phone, and absorbs impacts from drops.

"Stop drops before they happen with a no-slip grip".

And if you do drop your phone Speck claims each case meets military-grade ratings for drops of 10ft or more. They're actually drop-tested before going up for sale. We really like the additional built-in screen protection. Not a protector, but protection in the form of an extra thick layer around the front edges of the case.

There are 17 cases of the very same type (“backcover”), 1 hard case and 2 flipp cases. But where are slide-in pocket cases? What if one wants to choose a belt case? I don’t consider this a good selection, it wouldn’t satisfy me if I wanted a flip case (like I have now), nor it helps me to select a pocket case I want to try for my new phone… Besides, I think that specifically users of Note won’t typically use “backcover” (it has a nickname I won’t write here), which makes such top phone look “cheaper”, neither it is any good in protecting that large front screen. I’d say a typical choice would be a lather flip case, a hi-tech looking semi-transparent colour-tinned hard flip case, a leather pocket or a leather belt case.

A few in this list come with a kickstand AND a belt holster. And what do you mean by “pocket cases” Like a full sleeve that the entire phone goes into? Those aren’t very popular for the vast majority of the public, but we’ll update this post and add one. Thanks for your suggestion.
