Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Potential buyers seemed a bit shocked when Microsoft revealed the Xbox One and announced that it wouldn’t have a Halo game to complement the console at launch. It’s easy to understand why, Halo is the Xbox mascot. Whenever you see the Master Chief you instantly think back to the first time you ever played a Halo game on the Xbox 360 or original Xbox.

Microsoft knows this, and that’s why we can expect Halo: The Master Chief Collection to launch on the Xbox One on November 11th. Halo: The Master Chief Collection isn’t a single game. No, it’s a giant assortment of Halo games that have been remastered so that Xbox One owner can relive the thrills of taking down the covenant in Halo 3 or battling the Didact in Halo 4. Single player stories from Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 are included. Additionally, Halo 2’s multiplayer is also included. Xbox One owners who purchase the game also get an invitation to the Halo 5: The Guardians multiplayer beta happening later this year.
