BlackBerry has announced that its keyboard-centric BlackBerry Q10 will be made available to subscribers on T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint throughout the summer.

The Q10’s device page on T-Mobile now indicates that the device will be made available to users on the network starting this June. Data speed minded users should also rejoice: the device will be compatible with the network’s newly operational 4G LTE network.

T-Mobile users will be required to pay a down payment of $99 a month, and then pay down the remaining balance of the cost of the device with $20 payments for 24 months. The device’s total cost to users will be $579.

The BlackBerry 10 powered BlackBerry Q10 may not hit the U.S. until May or June.

While Sprint did confirm that its users will also be able to purchase the BlackBerry Q10 through a press release this morning, it’s currently only going as far as that confirmation. The company says that it will “announce additional details, including pricing and availability” closer to the device’s “late summer” launch on the network.

Verizon will be launching an exclusive white Verizon version of the BlackBerry Q10 sometime this June. Its version will allow users to connect to the company’s 4G LTE data network as well. Like Sprint, it too is holding back other launch details, like an exact date or pricing.

It should be noted that T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon have also publicly announced that the device will be available to business users sometime in June.

AT&T Mobility was also mentioned as a partner during the original unveiling of the BlackBerry Q10, however its plans still remain and unclear as it hasn’t made any more announcements about the device’s pricing or availability.

The BlackBerry Q10 features a 3.1 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. It also has a physical QWERTY keyboard for quickly writing and replying to emails, answering messages in the device’s BBM application and navigating its native applications. Internal specifications include a 1.5 Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8 megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The BlackBerry Q10 will be the second BlackBerry device to ship with BlackBerry’s updated BlackBerry 10 operating system in the United States. The operating system attempts to build on the security and enterprise foundations of BlackBerry’s previous operating systems while incorporating many of the traits included in today’s mobile operating systems, like an integrated music store, touch gesture based interactions and multitasking using it’s new “flow” interface.
